彌日異にあつさあつしやそら騒ぎ風鐸揺られひそか今宵に

 (いやひけにあつさあつしとそらさわぎふうたくゆられひそかこよいに)

I made a new Haikai in the height of summer.

(iyahikeni atsusaatsushiya sorasawagi fuutakuyurare hisokakoyoini)

First part - 5 7 5

1. iyahikeni:It daily grows

2. atsusaatsushiya:how hot is it

3. sorasawagi:There is a lot of chaos.

--------------

Second Part  - 7 7

4. fuutakuyurare :A wind chime, pls sway it.

5. hisokakoyoini :   In this night, secretly.

-----------

The haikai is 5 7 5 7 7  rhyme  divided into two parts: the first part 5 7 5 and the second part 5 7 7.

The first part is a preceding phrase which is a completely independent phrase - called ''Hokku''

is a short poem consisting of 17 syllables in 5-7-5 format'' is the meaning of  ''haiku'' style.

Cutting words, ''ya'' ''kana'' ''keri'' etc, are used in the first part to create emphasis or lingering effect so that the sentence functions as a completely independent phrase well.

The second part is following the beauty of the previous verse, the seasonal word is used the same. It is normal to end the verse with ending a sentence or poem with a noun or noun phrase.
